Ravenala madagascariensis (Strelitziaceae) – traveller’s palm Seed

Ravenala madagascariensis (Strelitziaceae) – traveller’s palm; native to Madagascar - a close relative of the bird-of-paradise-flower, the traveller’s palm has very similar fruits but the seeds are wrapped in blue instead of orange arils.
