The Celtic Realm stretches over the last lands left to the Celtic peoples, on the far edges of Europe’s Atlantic fringe.  Far from being a “lost tribe” the Celts are alive and well, constantly reinventing the rich culture that has made them so distinctive (and loveable) to visitors for centuries. My photography here has grown since my first story in Scotland for National Geographic some fifteen years ago. My own roots in Cornwall have guaranteed that this work is a labor of love as well as an intriguing cultural study.  And it is an object lesson in how cultures survive and flourish amid the supposed twin juggernauts of globalization and homogenization.
